Gang Injunction

Gang Injunction

Forever repping for South Central L.A., Nipsey Hussle has been bubbling up over the last few years, releasing a gang of mixtapes (three volumes of Bullets Ain't Got No Name, plus The Marathon and The Marathon Continues) and top-shelf collaborations with Snoop Dogg and Drake. While fans are still waiting on his oft-delayed debut, South Central State of Mind, he hits us with Gang Injunction: a thoroughly rugged, 20-track mixtape hosted by DJ RPM and featuring a large crew of young talent, including Freddie Gibbs, Jay Rock, Slim the Mobster, and Glasses Malone, among others. Lyrically, they pretty much stick with the traditional Westside M.O., relaying tales of street violence, scandalous ladies, Golden State pride, bundles of cash, and partying. It's more of a compilation than a true Nipsey album, and tracks like "Michael Vick" and "Respect” are well worth checking out.
