Broken Lines

Broken Lines

Operatic amp-wreckers from rock’s heaviest supergroup. That’s very much the offering on this debut from a cadre of musicians with day jobs in bands ranging from Mastodon to Alice In Chains. Thankfully, melodies leaven the raised devil-horns. “Blood Moon” is a '70s influenced pop-metal stormer, and “Back to the Light” (which pairs lead vocalist William DuVall with fired-up guest star Juliette Lewis) feels like sitting in on the world’s most exclusive jam session.
