You still don't expect a one-time fighter to have such a disarmingly sweet voice. On his third album, boxer-turned-crooner Luis Coronel remains the impossibly smooth and charmingly sensitive prince of banda. Vulnerable acoustic ballads like "Eres (Mi Bella Fan)" find Coronel still more interested in touching your heart than playing the tough guy, but he's not above flexing a little pop-star swagger on lusciously arranged románticas like "La Canción Perfecta." And his voice now aches with an intensity to match the grand sweep of epics like "Tal Como Eres."
